Simply put, the Easy Pro “Pump Pro-Tector” is a nylon mesh bag with an internal wall composed of polyester filter media. And its one of the easiest ways to keep pumps running smoother and longer i ponds and fountains which do not employ a standard filtration system. This mainly applies to fountains as a well built pond should have a proper filtration system.

This baby basically turns your pump, into a mechanical filter. Which is great. It’ll keep the water cleaner and it’ll protect the impeller from physical debris. Super easy to take apart and clean with your basic garden-hose.  They come in 2 standard sizes; 8″ and a 12″ diameter unit.
